AccessAble
AccessAble produce online accessibility guides to buildings, sites & venues across the UK – including many hospitals, shops, tourist attractions and universities. Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust have worked in partnership with AccessAble to develop a series of guides for many of our Trust sites. Take a look.
We want to enable all our patients, carers and other visitors to access our Trust sites and buildings with confidence. This is really important to us. We are therefore really proud to be working in partnership with AccessAble, who have produced accessibility guides for a range of Trust sites where we deliver services to our patients and service users.
Our aim is to provide people with disabilities and other access needs with the guidance, clarity and reassurance they need to plan their visit effectively to our Trust buildings.
All our accessibility guides can be found here or via the AccessAble app, available to download for free from your app store.

These guides are incredibly detailed, taking into account many different types of access needs. They will hopefully provide all the information you need to get to a site for your appointment or visit, and to find your way around once you are there. You can use the guides to work out where to park and the best route from the car park to the particular department/ward you need to get to.
Each department, ward or service also has its own accessibility guide so you can find out all the key information you need to know for your visit. Including where the nearest accessible toilet is, noise & lighting levels and the availability of lifts, ramps, hearing loops etc.
We hope that these guides will enable you to prepare and to confidently access our buildings.
