What are community hospitals/rehab units?

We have seven community hospitals/rehab units across Worcestershire. They provide a range of inpatient and outpatient services and support people to recovery from surgery or illness when they don't require acute care but neither can they be treated at home. They are a key part of our local healthcare system.

How to get here

Travelling by car

Malvern Community Hospital has large pay and display car park for visitors, with several disabled parking bays.. 

The hospital is situated approximately 7 miles from the M5.

Leave the M5 at Junction 7 and follows signs for A449 Malvern.

Follow this road for about 6 miles until you reach an island on the outskirts of Malvern. Take the second exit off the roundabout, staying on the Worcester Road into Malvern.

Follow this road for approximately a mile through Malvern Link.

Malvern Community Hospital is situated on the right hand side and is clearly visible from the road as you approach the building. 

By rail

Malvern has two railway stations. The nearest one to the hospital is Malvern Link Station which is situated very close to the hospital. 

By bus

There are local buses which will take you past the hospital. Ring the enquiry line (01905) 763888 for full details, or view details on the Worcestershire County Council website.

Malvern Community Hospital operates an ANPR-monitored car park 24 hours a day.

4 - 24 hours - £4.00

Parking for blue badge holders

Blue badge holder parking is free. There are designated blue badge holder spaces around the sites which are clearly signposted and marked.

Please leave your timecard clearly displayed in your vehicle window and take your blue badge permit with you. You will need your blue badge permit with the barcode on the back to register for free parking at the pay stations before you leave. You will need to input your vehicle registration at the pay stations and follow the instructions on screen, where you can scan your blue badge barcode to receive free parking.

Concessions

Concessionary rates are available for patients and close relatives in certain circumstances which may require regular or long term visits. Please speak to the nurse in charge of the ward/department for more information and an application form.
