Nurses and social care staff are working together to help ensure that hospital patients who are fit to go home, get there in a safe and timely way.

Following an assessment of our community hospitals and mental health wards, we are delighted to have scored above the national average for each domain in the Patient-Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) assessment.

Neighbourhood Teams in Worcestershire are reducing the number of patients admitted to hospital by up to 15 patients per day by treating them in their homes.

For the first time children’s mental health services in Worcestershire have been rated Outstanding - the highest rating possible. The CAMHS team provides a countywide service for children up to 18yrs and includes help for those with learning disabilities, a children’s eating disorder team and a youth offending team.
