Nominate your local healthcare hero!

Residents in Herefordshire and Worcestershire are invited to nominate their healthcare heroes in the 2024 Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust staff awards.

 Nurse checking a patient’s blood pressure at Tenbury Community Hospital The Trust is encouraging people who have accessed NHS community and mental health services in the past 12 months to nominate an outstanding team, or staff member for the prestigious Patient Choice award.

The award recognises staff who have gone above and beyond in their role to make a positive difference to their patients.

 Staff changing bedding on Cottage Ward, Princess of Wales Community HospitalLast year, the Trust provided care to over a million people across a range of services including mental health and learning disabilities, community hospitals, minor injury units, health visiting, specialist dental services and sexual health.

Robert Mackie, Chief Executive said: “In my first awards as Chief Executive, I look forward to celebrating the outstanding work that our staff and teams do and recognising those who wholeheartedly went above and beyond expectations during the last 12 months.”

“All the categories in our awards are special, but to be nominated for the impact you’ve had on the life of a patient, service user or their families and carers is a real honour,”

The winners will be announced at the Trust’s annual Staff Awards event, due to take place in autumn.
