NHS staff shortlisted for prestigious Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards

Staff from Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust have been shortlisted for honours at the Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards 2024, hosted by Newsquest.

The annual awards celebrate healthcare heroes across Worcestershire whose work makes a significant difference to those they care for.

This year, WISH Sexual Health Outreach Team and Worcester and Droitwich Older Adult Community Mental Health Team have been shortlisted for NHS Team of the Year, while Julie Wilson, Administrator for Worcester City Neighbourhood Team has scooped a place on the NHS Hero Award shortlist.

All have been recognised for their exceptional contributions and support offered to Worcestershire communities.

On behalf of the Trust, Natalie Willetts, Director of Nursing and Quality, said: “I’m extremely proud to see several of the Trust’s staff nominated for such prestigious awards, celebrating the outstanding work they do for the population of Worcestershire.”
