Mental Health Support for Parents

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust provides lots of support for children and young people, as well as mental health and wellbeing services which may help parents/carers too.
The Starting Well team work across Worcestershire providing a range of support for parents, from the antenatal stage right through a child’s developmental years.
It's website provides lots of help and information, including financial advice and details of support groups.

If you are a new dad preparing for parenthood there is also a new online resource called DadPad.
It covers the practical and emotional elements of being a father and provides links to national and local resources.
If you have a child under 5 years, and need advice on issues such as feeding, behaviour or constipation, contact the telephone advisory service. The service is available Monday – Friday 9am until 3pm.
