Learning Disability Week 2023
You are invited to a week long celebration across Herefordshire and Worcestershire to mark Learning Disability Week.
Herefordshire - Schedule of events
Join us for a series of events to smash the myths about a learning disability, celebrate people's achievements and have a week of fun and activity across Herefrodshire! There is no need to register, just drop-in to the events that interest you.
Tuesday 20th June
6pm-9pm - Leisure Link Skittles, Conservative Club, Ross - Open to all
Wednesday 21st June
10am-1pm - coffee, cake and craft morning at Clever Betsy: FREE event - There will be a variety of fabulous handmade crafts on sale and the opportunity to do some crafting
10am-2pm - FREE event at the Aspire Hub, Hereford: local myth busters, Wye Dance, speed dating, build a bug house, lunch, HealthWatch and Healthy Lifestyles
6.15pm - Corn Square, Leominster: a walk with ECHO's Walking Group around Aida's Accessible Amble. Fish & chips at The Grange. Ask Letty for more information: phone 01568 620 307 or email.
Thursday 22nd June
FREE - Meet the Community Learning Disability Team at the Aspire Hub, Hereford: salsa, mindfulness, arts and craft, food and drink
10:30am-2pm - Eaton Barn Summer Open Day, Stoke Prior Lane, Nr Leominster, HR6 0NA: garden tours, plants, produce and craft sale, green woodworking demo and taster lessons, pop up cafe, raffle, fire safety information and home checks and more fun activities.
Saturday 24th June

12pm-7pm - £2 - Ross Rugby Club Horizon Centre invites you to Rostock: music, circus skills, crafts, football, rugby and much more.

Worcestershire - Schedule of events
Replacement Care and Children’s Short Breaks in conjunction with the Community Learning Disability Teams will be hosting open days for LD Week and would love it if you were able to join us!
Monday 19th June at Osbourne Court and Wednesday 21st June at Churchview (POWCH). There will be things going on between 10am-2pm .
