Sophie's story

Written by Sophie — our Ward Manager at Tenbury Community Hospital

Hi, I'm Sophie and I am the acting Ward Manager at Tenbury Community Hospital.

I have worked for the trust for nearly 10 years. Since starting with the Trust in 2015 as a Healthcare Support Worker, I have completed my Nursing Associate Degree and my top-up to a Registered Nurse Degree. Going through my professional training whilst working provided me with support and empowered me to develop myself, having inspirational leaders to look up to.

My favourite part of my workplace is how supportive we are of one and other; we are in a rural location and work within a small team which is like a second family.
