Hi, I’m Shalini, Senior Programme Manager within the PMO at the Trust.

I joined the Trust in February 2024, following my role at NHS England and a prior career as a software engineer in the IT sector. My background aided me with a strong foundation in analytical and project management skills, allowing me to transition effectively into the healthcare environment. I joined the Trust with the intention of working more closely with frontline staff and within the hospital environment to gain a deeper understanding of the healthcare system.

I was particularly drawn to this PMO team for its supportive culture, driven by an inspiring manager and highly dedicated colleagues. Since joining, I’ve had the privilege of working across a range of Trust programmes, which have broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of the critical work we do in supporting staff, patient care, and organisational efficiency. I am also pursuing a Level 7 Apprenticeship in Data Analytics, and my line manager has been incredibly supportive of my professional growth. Additionally, there is an excellent flexibility and work-life balance here.
