We are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen dedicated her life to public service and we were incredibly proud when she awarded all NHS staff the George Cross in recognition of the courage and compassion shown during the pandemic.

She has been a constant and stable part of our lives during her seven decades as Queen, and her sense of duty and service is an inspiration to us all.

As a Trust and as a nation we will come together during this period of mourning to remember with affection someone who has touched the lives of so many.

Our thoughts remain with His Majesty the King and the Royal Family at this time.
